The sub-frame on the Ninja ZX-6R is a 2 piece aluminum

The sub-frame on the Ninja ZX-6R is a 2 piece aluminum die cast that consists of a front and rear section. The sub-frame is light and very narrow, making the back end of this bike slim.

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is 100% Kawasaki to be sure. Just look at it. The overall look of this superbike is futuristic, sophisticated and super-cool. It creates excitement just parked at the curb.

Kawasaki calls this Ninja a ‘purpose-built’ racebike and with goodies like a quick-turn throttle, alternative gear sets, an aggressive intake cam and head gaskets of varying thickness, this bike is ready to scream around the track. The lean physique and low weight, offer you precise control and outstanding acceleration.

The four stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC, four valves per cylinder, in-line four, 599cc engine is built for power. A lightweight magnesium engine cover saves on weight and the oil pump and starter gears are machined to use less metal and weight also. The engineers at Kawasaki were able to trim weight throughout the engine to ensure a faster and more efficient ride.
