Vespa is the first time motorcycles output with 125cc specifications and unique shapes.
Historical Origins Vespa began more than a century ago, precisely 1884. Piaggio company was founded in Genoa, Italy in 1884 by Rinaldo Piaggio. Rinaldo business starting ship equipment. But at the end of the century, Piaggio was also producing rail train, train car, truck body, engine and train. In World War I, the company produces and ships Aircraft Sea. In 1917 Piaggio bought a new plant in Pisa, and 4 years later Rinaldo took over a small plant in Pontedera in the Tuscany region of Italy. This factory in Pontedera which became central production aircraft and their components (propellers, engines and aircraft) During World War II, the Pontedera factory making aircraft engines P108 for two passengers and Version Pembom.muncul Back At the end of World War II , Piaggio factory bombed by allied aircraft. After the war ended, Enrico Piaggio Piaggio took over from his father (Rinaldo Piaggio). At the time Italy's economy was deteriorating, Enrico decided to design a cheap means of transportation. Enrico decided to focus attention on the problem of company requisite personal mobility Italian society. Then join Corradino D'Ascanio, aviation engineer who designed the gifted, to draft and flew a helicopter Modern First Piaggio. D'Ascanio to design a simple, economical, comfortable and elegant. D'Ascanio envisioned a revolutionary new vehicle. By taking a picture of aircraft technology, he imagined a vehicle built with a "monocoque" or unibody Steel Chassis. Tires front fork like landing a plane which is easy for replacement tires. The result of a design inspired by aircraft reply is that until this is different from other vehicles. So in 1945, construction of an alternative was found. Initially was a concept bike has a steel frame with rounded curves like a tunnel. Surprisingly, the trigger is designed to use the bomb components and wheels taken from a plane wheel and combat. Optimize the security of its users, the manufacturer who was then still somewhat in an effort''sidewalk''cover board design on the front foot. This project directly led by Corradino D'Ascanio. Therefore, any patents they can immediately results. Results, first appeared in motor products MP5 series. This vehicle is a simple technology but have very interesting shapes, like animal sting (bees / wasps) because of the frame. However, because of the security cover as a surfboard, a number of workers at the Piaggio factory had even said it as a motor Paperino. Please remember, Paperino is a cynical satire to character Donald Duck (duck). So, d'Ascanio play any reason to improve the model. D 'Ascanio only takes a few days to re-conceptualize the design of the vehicle and the prototype is named MP6. When Enrico Piaggio saw protototip MP6, he accidentally called out "Sambra Una Vespa" (looks like a wasp). Finally, the appeal was not deliberate, it was decided this vehicle called the 'Vespa' (wasps in Indonesian). In April 1946, it began MP6 prototype mass-produced in the Piaggio factory in Pontedera, Italia.Pada End 1949, has been in production and 35,000 units in 10 years has produced 1 million units and in mid-1950. So in 1950 Vespa 125 cc appears artificial Jerman. On that time many other countries that try to make similar products, but they were not able to compete with any Piaggio. Among the competitors was Lambretta, Heinkel, Zundapp, and NSU. For the people of Indonesia, Lambretta and Zundapp products, popular time-1960 era have inquired an.quizzed, fanaticism against the Vespa had emerged from the basic features of this motor is always on hold next to each product.
